About the performance:
Tie it is the second part of the full evening dance performance Urban Tales. Tie takes its inspiration from the novel "I called him Necktie", written by Milena Michiko Flašar.
A thought of Ivan Cankar "a man must be alone in order to know others", in the urban society it makes difficulty to find its place. Even in the shelter of their own rooms, an individual it is faced with memories, dreams, frustrations, relationships pieces, fragments of happiness. Solitude gets overflow with loneliness, fantasy replaces real contact. Random meeting in the park confronts individual with the society, with multitude of pressures, system, authority, where at the same time the society gives the individual the opportunity to find friendships, love and living new stories.
