“Bye, bye, Blackbird, bye, bye, no one here can love and understand me, oh, what hard luck stories they all hand me”. La maravillosa canción compuesta por Ray Henderson con letra de Mort Dixon en 1926 y que Gene Austin convirtió en todo un clásico, se funde en mi memoria junto al delicado “Blackbird singing in the dead of night, take these broken wings and learn to fly” escrita por Paul McCartney allá por 1968 para el ecléctico “White album” de The Beatles. En ambas, Blackbird busca liberarse del sufrimiento. Ahora, el “Blackbird” de David Harrower llega dirigido por Lluís Pasqual e interpretado por Jordi Bosch y Bea Segura. El pasado pasa cuentas elaborando preguntas que nos pueden hacer sentir muy incómodos al ir vinculadas a un abuso sexual. El sexo y nuestra visión del mismo, tan teñida por cuestiones culturales, lleva los impulsos por terrenos de nadie, escondidos, negados en muchas ocasiones, arrastrándose en la contradicción entre la naturaleza y la moralidad, a veces para bien y otras conduciéndonos al irremediable abismo. Una obra que el dramaturgo escocés escribió en 2005 por encargo del Festival de Edimburgo en el que fue estrenada bajo la dirección de Peter Stein. Una chica de 27 años quiere entender la relación que mantuvo a los 12 con Ray, entonces de 40 años, y por la cual éste fue arrestado y encarcelado. Ella estaba enamorada y creyó que él también lo estaba. ¿Es esto posible? ¿Es esto admisible?…
